SEED EF: Powering advanced innovation in energy and equitable decarbonization
Lehigh University's Stakeholder Engaged Equitable Decarbonized Energy Futures (SEED EF) program empowers graduate students to become future energy leaders who are equipped to develop effective and equitable low-carbon energy solutions.
Supported by the National Science Foundation's National Research Traineeship (NRT) Program, SEED EF offers a unique opportunity for Lehigh Master's and PhD students to work with peers across the University on cutting-edge research in this rapidly-emerging space.
Focused on addressing energy-related community challenges, the program engages Lehigh's Master's and PhD students to develop systems and technologies that improve energy efficiency and equitability. A key strategy for developing these solutions involves engaging diverse stakeholders—industry leaders, community members, and government representatives—to help define, develop and implement energy solutions.
Are you a current or prospective graduate student interested in energy systems, renewable sources, or associated areas of policy, law, and health? Complete the brief form below and a member of the SEED EF team will connect with you soon.
Please note: All admitted Lehigh graduate students are encouraged to participate in the program activities. NSF funding is available for eligible US citizens and permanent residents.
